Indian Automotive Technology Innovation Award-2016 Indian Automotive Technology Innovation Award-2016: Student Innovator of the Year (2nd Runner Up) was awarded for the students of Mechanical Engineering, NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad, Kerala.This prestigious award was received by Suryan Kumar, Arjun Ramesh and Ananthan, Mechanical engineering students of the NSS College of Engineering,Palakkad, Kerala in a function held on December 16, 2016 at The Grand, New Delhi,  for their innovative project “Turbo Lag Removal and Turbo charging of Single Cylinder Engines”. This system will help reduce emissions, boost performance and increase mileage, without compromising on power delivery and performance. The project concept and guidance were jointly done by    Dr. Vinod V. and Dr. P. R. Suresh of the Mechanical Engg. Department. State level APJ Abdul Kalam Power Quiz Sajid Koduvali and Anjo James(S7, EEE) has won the first prize in the State level APJ Abdul Kalam Power Quiz conducted by the electrical department of St; Gits Engineering college in association with KSEB.
